Notice of Public Comment Period and Hearing

The Air Pollution Control Board of Jefferson County opens a public comment period January 27, 2000, and will hold a public hearing March 15, 2000, on amendments to the following District Regulations:

1.15 Version of Federal Regulations Incorporated by Reference, Version # 7, Draft # 2 - Proposed November 30, 1999;
5.02 Federal Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants Incorporated by Reference, Version # 8, Draft # 2 - Proposed November 30, 1999;
5.14 Hazardous Air Pollutants and Source Categories, Version # 3, Draft # 2 -
Proposed December 2, 1999;
6.18 Standards of Performance for Existing Solvent Metal Cleaning Equipment,
Version # 5, Draft # 3 - Proposed December 1, 1999;
6.47 Federal Acid Rain Program for Existing Sources Incorporated by Reference,
Version # 4, Draft # 2 - Proposed January 13, 2000;
7.02 Federal New Source Performance Standards Incorporated by Reference,
Version # 7, Draft # 3 - Proposed January 4, 2000;
7.18 Standards of Performance for New Solvent Metal Cleaning Equipment,
Version # 5, Draft # 2 - Proposed December 1, 1999; and
The repeal of Regulation 7.82 Federal Acid Rain Program for New Sources
Incorporated by Reference, Version # 4, Draft # 1 - Proposed January 13, 2000.

If approved, amended Regulations 6.18 and 7.18 will be submitted to be part of the Kentucky State Implementation Plan.

Written statements will be accepted by the Board, Jonathan L. Trout, Secretary-Treasurer, 850 Barret Ave., Louisville, KY 40204-1745 until 5 p.m. February 25, 2000. Oral statements will be accepted at the public hearing on March 15, 2000, at 9 a.m. in the Board Room, 850 Barret Ave.
