The Air Pollution Control District of Jefferson County gives notice of its intent to issue a FEDOOP Operating Permit to Thornton Transportation Incorporated, a subsidiary of Thornton Oil Corporation, according to the requirements of District Regulation 2.17 Federally Enforceable District Origin Operating Permits. This notice announces the 30-day public comment period.
Thornton Transportation applied for the permit as a result of the purchase of the Sun Company Terminal located at 7800 Cane Run Road. The ownership change requires issuance of a new FEDOOP Operating Permit. The terms and conditions of this operating permit will remain the same.
Copies of the application and draft FEDOOP permit are available at the District office, 850 Barret Ave, Louisville, KY 40204-1745 during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by contacting Chris Bryant at 502/574-7253. Comments must be made in writing and directed to Jesse Goldsmith, Engineering Manager, at the District office no later than December 18, 2000.
