The Air Pollution Control District of Jefferson County (District) gives notice of a draft Title V operating permit according to District Regulations 2.07 Public Notification for Title V Permits and 2.16 Title V Operating Permits.
The District will accept written comments on the technical merits of the Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) and Best Available Control Technology (BACT) determinations for Zeon Chemicals L.P., 4100 Bells Lane.
The District’s intention is to accept the determinations of RACT for complying with District Regulations 5.11 Standards of Performance for Existing Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants and BACT for 5.12 Standards of Performance for New or Modified Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants.
Copies of the application and permit draft are available at the District office, 850 Barret Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204-1745 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by contacting Chris Bryant at 502/574-7256. Comments must be made in writing and directed to Jesse Goldsmith, Engineering Manager, at the District office no later than December 27, 2000.
