The Air Pollution Control District of Jefferson County (District) will accept written comments on the technical merits of Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) and Best Available Control Technology (BACT) determinations for the American Synthetic Rubber Company LLC, 4500 Camp Ground Road. The District’s intention is to accept the determinations of RACT for complying with Regulations 5.11 Standards of Performance for Existing Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants and BACT for 5.12 Standards of Performance for New or Modified Sources Emitting Toxic Air Pollutants.
Also, the American Synthetic Rubber Company LLC, 4500 Camp Ground Road, has requested revisions to its New Source Review construction permits.
The draft permits and application may be reviewed at the District’s office, 850 Barret Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204-1745 by contacting Bruce Gaylord,502/ 574-7253, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Comments must be made in writing directed to Jesse Goldsmith, Engineering Manager, at the District office no later than January 9, 2001.
